Context

Kaufman & Broad is a French construction and real estate development company. They called on us because they were aware of certain areas for improvement on their site concerning their navigation system, accessibility, content hierarchy and clarity of wording.



Their problems was the following — "Is the product information presented clear and easily accessible? Is the hierarchy of information right? Is the navigation smooth?"

Audit & tests

To better understand their issues and meet their needs, we started with a UX audit and heuristic criteria analysis. Once this was done, we were able to see all the areas of improvement and started to imagine solutions.



To push the insights we had found, we performed several user tests on their current main pages and our redesign with all the fixes. This was able to highlight the doubts that Kaufman & Broad had. For the user tests done, we find the user path test, the Sus test and the AXE test.

Design

We decided to redesign the homepage and the program page while keeping the current brand identity. The objective was to make the navigation more fluid, the experience more pleasant and allow the user to understand the world of real estate. The challenge was to make it more accessible for the target group that is new to this business.
